| "Queenie" or "Qui Qui" as we are calling her has stunned us all with her feminine and gentle face, athletic build and gorgeous coat (I've always dreamed of a dun filly and voila-here she is!). Her sire Fergus of Big Bear Farm has won so many performance awards they will take too long to list, however, among them are the Golden Shamrock of the ACPS, a highly coveted and prestigious award. He is pictured below left. Her dam, Shammer Gypsy Queen, was bred by Maureen Loughman Abel of Okeechobee, FL. Maureen also owned and imported "Queenie's" grandsire *Ballinaboy Eamon (IRE) who was not only a Clifden colt Champion in Ireland but was also a renowned performance pony here in the States. "Queenie" has it all: looks, ability, and brains. She will be staying here at Willow Run . |
